Reviews and Ratings
The room had a weird smell but was clean, with good toiletries and nice carpets in the hallway. The outdoor swimming pool was okay.
I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. The rooms in the main building were very inviting and impressively clean, but there was a weird smell in my room that was a bit off-putting. The service was a bit inconsistent; while some staff were super friendly and helpful, others seemed disinterested. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some excellent meals and some disappointments. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel had a rural setting, ideal for our trip with easy access from Hwy 400 and close to many places in Barrie. The rooms were ok, quiet, and clean, but had a musty smell considering the price paid per night. The service was nice at check-in and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good, but I wished for a pick-up option, and the location offered peace away from household chaos. Dining prices were reasonable, and additional services like dry cleaning and laundry cost extra.
